Sundays

Worship services are held on Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Our English service begins at 9:45 a.m. followed by bible study at 11:15 a.m. Although our Spanish service begins at 11:30 a.m., the bible study for our Spanish speakers starts at 10:00 a.m.

Youth

“The Summer of Plus One” is our youth commitment this year. To love and lead people from all cultures into a life-transforming relationship with Jesus Christ is not just the church mission, but it’s also our youth mission.

Ministries

Ministries at ChristWay exist to edify and serve. We do that through our ministries of Worship, Prayer, Connect, Disciple, Witness and Serve.

Worship2

The ChristWay family worships God together in multicultural, spirit-filled, gatherings that praise and honor God. With the help of a worship team, the worship experience at ChristWay is amazing!  Our team consists of prayer leaders, scripture readers, communion servants, altar servants, media servants and of course our praise band. Our church members offer their gifts and talents to serve in these areas. If you feel that you are inspired to serve, please contact Christine Schoots at 713.825.1736. She’d love to help you find a place to serve. **Our English service begins at 9:45 am on Sunday morning.  At 11:00 a.m., our two congregations meet for a time of fellowship before gathering for the 11:30 am Spanish service.**

Prayer

Prayer is the cornerstone to becoming and remaining a disciple of Jesus Christ. Prayer is our key to God’s door. At ChristWay, the Prayer Ministry encourages and educates our church family to be people of prayer. Through individual prayer, intercessory prayer, congregational prayer, and community prayer, it is our desire to develop life-transforming relationships with Jesus Christ. Our prayer warriors gather on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. each week to pray with grateful hearts as well as heavy hearts. Come and learn more about the power of prayer.

Connect2Connect at ChristWay is all about relationship; a deeper relationship with Jesus as well as a deeper relationship with one another. Our goal is to achieve oneness in the body of Christ. How do we do that? Well, it starts with our Connect Ministry. The Connect Team consists of volunteers that greet you, guide you and mentor you as you become part of the ChristWay family. It is our hope that you not only connect to one of our small groups, bible studies, or home groups but you also connect to one of our service ministries. A deeper relationship with Jesus as well as with each other comes as you walk alongside others. Join us…we can’t wait to meet you!

Disciple2We are passionate about making disciples of Jesus Christ. Discipleship at ChristWay is about preparing people for spiritual growth through a structured discipleship program.

Our discipleship program guides you through four levels of study: Exploring Christ-Growing in Christ-Centered in Christ-Serving Christ. Our teachers are well-equipped and spiritually mature as well as committed to obedience to Biblical Truth and to living in holiness. Whether you are curious about the Christian faith and are interested in knowing more about Jesus or whether you are a believer seeking a more profound relationship with Jesus, there is a place for you at ChristWay. We look forward to seeing you!

Witness“There is no vocation more significant and satisfying than being a witness to the life changing love of Jesus Christ.”  This excerpt taken from the book “Witness Essentials: Evangelism that Makes Disciples” by Daniel Meyer expresses one of the most important facets of what we are about at ChristWay.

Through our ministry of Witness, we look for opportunities to reach out into the communities in our mission field to share our stories of how Jesus has changed lives.  Our Witness Team uses events like our Family Movie Night, an evening filled with popcorn, hot dogs and fellowship, to share how awesome a Christ-filled life can be.  If you are new to a church environment or are curious about knowing more about Jesus Christ, come and join us at one of our upcoming events. We’d love to share our stories.

Serve I think we can all agree that we live in a world where people are in need. At ChristWay, our Serve ministries engage people in following the example of Christ as servant while seeking to honor God by putting faith into action. Serve ministries focus on satisfying the physical, material and spiritual needs of people inside and outside of our mission field, according to the resources that God provides for us and through us.
